Soups, Salads, and Sandwiches, Oh My!

Cafe Zupas makes eating healthy so easy. They bring over 200 natural ingredients to the kitchen and create very homemade dishes in a very fast and modern approach. My first impression was okay, it's an adult cafeteria or a remake of Souplantation. But I was wrong! On our first glance at the menu, it seems very easy to see the various options, but what we like to do, anytime we visit a new restaurant, is ask the workers; "What is the best dish or what is the place best known for?" This is great for us, because it allowed us to trust the worker and really see if the food was in fact good or not. We were told that the roasted red pepper and lobster soup along with the BBQ Brisket Sandwich. So went with that suggestion along with ordering a salad. I was shocked to find out that our order comes with a free chocolate covered strawberry!!! I was so happy on that little gesture, because, let's be honest, anywhere else you go to, whether a high end restaurant or a fast food place, the dessert is never included in the meal. We also tried the infused beverages that they had available. They have 2 options, a citrus infusion blend, of orange, lemonade and honey or a raspberry lemonade honey infused drink. Either option will have you going back for a refill.

Back to the main dishes. The roasted red pepper and lobster soup is so so so delicious!! Will literally have you wondering "How did they do this?" It's so thick and rich in flavor, we were definitely using the bread as an extra finger to help get the rest of the remaining soup on the bowl. The salad was also very large and refreshing in flavor. The BBQ Brisket was also extremely delectable in every bite. And you guessed right, the chocolate covered strawberries were also very sweet and juicy. Cafe Zupas has definitely been our go-to spot for when we don't feel like cooking but opt-in for a healthy alternative than the normal fast food places. Try it once and you'll be hooked and if you do get hooked, they also offer catering services so that you can get your friends and family hooked as well! Enjoy and Bon Appetit!
