A magical journey at the "Happiest Place on Earth"

An adventure through and through, starting off booking tickets to the magical kingdom were a breeze. Opting in for the park hopper option was no brainer! Starting off our day on the road less traveled, we decided to begin our magical journey on the California Adventure Park side. The entrance lines were dismal compared to the Disneyland side (Side-note: Get there early!)
Our first stop was the beauty - Guardians of the Galaxy (Previously "Tower of Terror")

Starting off strong my second favorite ride at the entire park. Opting in for the "Lightning Lane" option was worth every penny. Currently $18 per person to skip the line was a must-do for us especially since we were only here for one day. We needed to squeeze as much Disney from each minute.
Shawarma - Delicious!

Arguably one of the best things to eat at California Adventure, this quick bite of heaven was on the same street as Guardians of the Galaxy at a New York style food stand (Ode to Tony Stark craving Shawarma in Avengers) and was the perfect bite to keep our spirits high and stomachs full! Including a Shawarma sauce is a delicious garlic sauce with a Greek yogurt base. Tahini adds some warmth, depth of flavor, and the classic Middle Eastern flavor you'd expect here. Lemon juice and fresh herbs brighten it up and make it just totally irresistible.
"Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy"

Entering Disneyland brings memories you've forgotten you've had, the iconic front lawn and this plaque create a magical feeling of "anything can happen". The excitement alone is astonishing and thankfully Disneyland does not disappoint!

This was a first choice from our writer Melissa, this classic hoodie is versatile and is a great combination with any Disneyland outfit. It was the middle of April, but a chilly breeze was right around the corner as night fell.
Secondly the Madame Leota Denim Jacket was a show stopper

This was one of the best denim jackets I could find, its a womens jacket so its a bit shorter than expected, but needed for the chilly April night that was coming - clothing is clothing. It still looks great!
A Magical Kingdom

As night falls families from around the world gather in front of Cinderella Castle in preparation for the iconic firework show inside Disneyland.
Overall
Disneyland is one of the most beloved places on the face of the planet for kids and adults. It's easy to see why it is still on the top of most vacation lists. Going in I expected to pay $30 for a sandwich and chips, but I was surprised to find out things are reasonably priced considering its the most well known amusement park in the world. I'm not saying it's cheap - im saying its reasonable for a couple of adults, but if you are a family of 5 things are much different and those prices add up.
The park itself was very clean and getting around was a breeze (make sure to bring comfortable shoes-we walked 13 miles) As a one day experience paying for the "lightning line / Genie +" were undeniably the biggest hack to get on rides. We met one gentleman and his family that were waiting at the Cars ride for 3 hours, Only 4 hours after the park opened. In that same time we had rode 5 rides and were in front of him in 20 mins (It was a long line even for lightning lane)
The wonder and magic that Disneyland / California Adventure bring to your heart are undeniable and the memories made are worth the price of the ticket. Next time we visit the park we have a little life hack we think adults could use to make their experience even better. Until next time.
